How do I add a property?
Tap the Properties tab at the bottom of the screen, then tap + in the top right. Enter the property name and address, then add or customise the rooms for that property.
How do I start a new inspection?
Tap the Inspections tab, then tap +. Select the property, choose the inspection type (Moving In, Interim, or Moving Out), then work through each room — setting a rating and adding notes or photos.
How do I add photos to a room?
When editing a room during an inspection, tap the camera button. You can take a new photo or choose one from your photo library.
How do I email an inspection report?
Open any completed inspection and tap the envelope icon in the top right. The app generates a professional PDF and opens your mail app ready to send.
How do I track compliance documents?
Tap the Vault tab and tap + to add a document. You can record Gas Safety certificates, EICRs, EPCs, PAT Tests, HMO Licences, and more. Set an expiry date and the app will remind you 60 and 30 days before it expires.
How do I edit an existing inspection?
Open the inspection from the list and tap Edit in the top right. Update ratings, notes, and photos, then tap Done to save.
Where is my data stored?
All your data — properties, inspections, photos, compliance documents — is stored in your own private iCloud account. It is never shared with or accessible by anyone else, including the developer.
Will my data sync across my devices?
Yes. Because the app uses iCloud, your data automatically appears on any iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple ID.
How do I unlock the Pro version?
Tap the + button when you've reached the free limit. The upgrade screen will appear with a one-time payment option. There is no subscription — you pay once and own it forever. If you've already paid, tap Restore Purchase on the same screen.
I deleted an inspection by mistake — can I recover it?
Unfortunately, deletions are permanent and cannot be undone within the app. If you have an iCloud or device backup, you may be able to restore a previous version through your iPhone Settings.
